Ordering & Delivery
When will my order arrive?
Once your order is placed, we will then process your order and this could take 3 to 5 days. This doesn’t include the lead time. Please note that the lead time is dependent on the brand of products that you ordered. Each lead time will be displayed on the product page, at the top alongside stock availability. We highly suggest that you take note of these details when placing your order.
Do you deliver to my area?
We deliver to most of the UK but some areas are restricted while others are chargeable.
Is delivery free?
Yes, we offer free delivery to most of the UK mainland on most of our products. However, there are some postcodes that are chargeable.On the checkout page, please provide the correct postcode to see if your address incurs a delivery charge.
For our garden accessories, delivery charge can be waived if you ordered them with a garden building (add-on must be within the product page).

What happens once my order has been placed?
Once you place your order, we will send a confirmation email with the details on what's been ordered and the lead time range of when your order will be delivered. As mentioned, please note that the order processing time is not included in the lead time. The lead time differs based on the brand of the product you’ve ordered, and this information is available on each product page.
Once your order has been shipped, we will send you another email with the tracking number and the delivery company that will be delivering the order. Please note, that this may not be available to some products.
When can I expect to hear a specific delivery date?
You should receive your order within the stated advertised lead time which you could also find in the Order confirmation email.
However, If you have ordered a garden building, you will be contacted directly by our supplier to arrange a delivery date and lead time range.
We also advise that you reach out to our supplier via the same method that they’ve contacted you. You may reach them via email (not through the order confirmation email we sent), in the first instance if you have any issues with your delivery.
If, however, you still have issues with your delivery AND it has now passed the advertised lead time, please feel free to contact us and we will assist you in tracking your order.
What happens if an item is out of stock?
If the product you like is out of stock, you can choose to get notified once it is back in stock. Simply click on the “Notify Me” button below the product price. You will then be asked to enter your email address. After typing your email, click on “Notify me when available”.
And that’s it! Once restocked, you will receive an email notification that the product is back in stock.
Can I change the details on my order?
We're always ready and willing to help our customers with any changes they need. If you need to make any change to an existing order, please give us a call ASAP.
However, please take note that we can only accommodate these changes if your order has not been dispatched yet. If the order has already been shipped, you (the customer) will be responsible for returning the order back to us.
Do I need to buy anything else?
If there are other products or services that would be useful for your installation and assembly needs please contact our team via the Contact Us page.
Can I collect my order?
All orders are for home delivery only. We currently don’t offer on-site product pickup.
What if I’m not at home when the product is delivered?
If you have ordered a garden building or outdoor furniture, you or someone will have to be home to receive it or the delivery team could leave your orders at the curb.
If you have missed a delivery that requires your signature, we will leave instructions on how to schedule a re-delivery.
In what form will the product be delivered?
All garden structures are delivered flat packed for easy installation.
Can the delivery be taken straight into my garden?
Unfortunately, our drivers can only deliver your package at the kerbside.
Can I have my order delivered to my allotment?
Yes, you can have your order delivered to an allotment if the building has a postcode. Please provide clear instructions, so our carrier knows where to leave your order if you are not present to receive the delivery.
My items arrived with parts missing or damaged – What should I do?
If you have some issues with your order such as missing or damaged parts, please contact our customer service team right away using this form.
Installation
Do you provide an installation service?
If available, you will see an Installation option as an add-on for the product you selected. Unfortunately, we do not provide installation separately or without a garden building.
How much is installation?
Installation costs may vary depending on the product and will be included as an add-on to the garden building you selected. The cost of installation (if available) will be detailed on the product page. We don’t not provide installation as a separate service without purchasing a garden building.
Will installation happen on the same day as delivery?
In most cases, if you have purchased an installation alongside your garden building, we will install and deliver the product on the same day. In some cases, we may need to deliver the product and schedule installation another day. Rest assured that we will advise you if this is the case.
Do I need to do anything in preparation for the installation team?
Before installation, there are a few things you need to do to prepare the area. First, you need to mark out the space where the garden building will go. This will help to ensure that the shed is positioned correctly and that there is enough space for it.
Once you have marked out the space, you need to remove any obstacles that might prevent the garden shed from being installed. This includes removing any bushes or trees that are in the way, as well as levelling the ground so that it is flat.
Finally, you need to make sure that there is a firm foundation for the shed to be built on. You could create a levelled concrete shed base or purchase an actual base. You can purchase this as an add-on to your garden shed.
Once you have prepared the area, you or our team can then install your shed.

Do the prices include VAT?
Yes, the prices are inclusive of VAT.
When is payment required?
Payment must be 100% made once the order is placed.
How do I pay for my order?

Your payment details are guaranteed to be safe and secure with us. We use an established, trusted provider for your safety.
Can I still cancel my order?
You can cancel your order at any time before delivery by contacting our customer service team.
Please note that orders can only be cancelled within 24hours after purchase, and will incur a 10% admin fee.
To cancel an order, send us an email at sales@gardenpromos.com with your order number with the reason for cancellation. You may also give us a call to cancel your order. Unfortunately, we do not transact using postal service.
How do I return my order?
To return and order, please fill out the form in our Contact Us page, and kindly choose “Returns” in the subject box.
Charges for returns
If your order was faulty or damaged, or not as described, we will pay the costs for return shipping, or shipping for replacement parts.
If you are returning your order due to a change of mind, you are responsible for freight charges.

What type of timber are your wooden products made from?
We only sell high-quality European softwood, which is made from a variety of species depending on what you're looking for.
Where can I find the measurements for the product I am looking at?
The dimensions, specifications, and other information about the product can be found on the product description in each product page. If you require any further information on a specific product, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Do you have a showroom where I can view your products?
We don’t have a showroom; however, all our products can be viewed online with complete details.
Are the sheds available in any other sizes?
All sizes are indicated on each product page, and we only stock the size indicated on the website
Does the shed come with a floor?
Most of our plastic and wooden garden sheds come with a floor. However, there are a few models which do not. The product description for each product will include this information, so please make sure to check or you can also confirm with our customer service team.
Do I need to buy a wooden or plastic base with my shed?
If you are placing your shed on a grassed area, you will need to use a base. We have a range of plastic bases available, or you may be offered a wooden base as part of the add-ons for the product. However, you can directly place your shed on slabs or concrete if the surface is solid and level.
Can I order a shed without windows?
If you are looking for a security or windowless shed, we have a range of options that will suit your needs. If you have any questions, our customer service team can help you choose the right shed for your needs.
Can the windows be placed on the other side of the shed?
ou can install the garden shed so the windows are on either side. We would, however, suggest that you check the installation guide on the proper installation of the windows and add a note during checkout on the specific location of the windows.
Do you offer installation on sheds?
Installation is available for our selected shed products and other garden buildings. The installation cost is detailed on the product page. If installation is available, it will be included as an add-on to the product you selected.
If installation is not available on the product page, it means we do not offer installation for the product.
Do you provide the glazing material for the windows?
Yes, the glazing material will be provided if windows are indicated as part of the product.
Yes, we provide the glazing as specified on the product page. Garden buildings with single or double glazing will be indicated in the product descriptions.
Does wood treatment protect against mould?
Mould is a surface-dwelling fungus that can cause discolouration but will not cause the timber to rot. The timber used to build sheds is a natural material so it may get damp, which may lead to mould. If patches of mould develop on the shed, we recommend using a mould remover that contains mildewcide.
Planning Permission
Will I need planning permission to erect my garden building in my garden?
Planning permission is usually not required if the outbuilding is for a domestic purpose and is located near your house. Planning permission may be required if the structure is larger than specified limits, if it is located in a conservation area or world heritage site, or if it will be used for a commercial purpose.
If you are unsure whether or not you need planning permission, it is always best to check with your local planning authority. They will be able to give you specific advice about your situation.
Do I need any other kind of consent?
If you own a listed building or property in a conservation area, you will need to obtain listed building/conservation area consent before carrying out any work that would alter the appearance of the property. This includes work on the exterior of the building, such as repainting, as well as more significant alterations, such as adding an extension.
In some cases, properties may also be subject to restrictive covenants that prevent building work from being carried out in the back garden. If this is the case, you will need to seek the consent of the person with the benefit of the covenant before proceeding.
Finally, it is worth checking whether your property's current planning permission contains any conditions that would negate your permitted development rights. Your local planning authority should be able to advise you on this.

What is a solid sheet/OSB?
OSB is used in a variety of applications, including flooring, walls and roofs. It is also an excellent choice for void filling and sound deadening. OSB is available in a range of thicknesses and sizes, making it a versatile building material. It is also relatively inexpensive, making it a popular choice for home improvements and DIY projects. Thanks to its durability and strength, OSB is an excellent choice for a wide range of construction applications.
How big are the floor joists?
The size of floor joists is 1” squared joists.
Can I paint the shed?
Pressure-treated sheds are made with a chemical preservative that helps to extend the life of the timber. However, this preservative can also make it difficult for paint to adhere properly. For best results, wait 2-3 months after the initial treatment before painting the shed.
This will give the preservative time to weather and create a surface that is more receptive to paint. If you do choose to paint sooner, be sure to use a wood-friendly paint that is specifically designed for pressure-treated sheds. With a little patience and the right products, you can enjoy a beautifully painted shed that will last for years to come.
Do I need to treat these units?
Pressure treated sheds usually come with a 15-year anti-rot guarantee, however many people choose to treat their shed every few years for peace of mind. There are many different ways to treat a pressure treated shed, depending on the level of protection you are looking for.
What exactly is the colour of pressure-treated sheds?
Pressure treatment gives the shed a slight greenish hue in places. This is due to the residue from the treatment, and it is nothing to worry about. The greenish hue will eventually fade as the shed weathers.
Are the joists pressure treated?
Yes, all joists are pressure treated.
Can I have a better felt?
The felt supplied with the building is a high quality mineral felt that will last for many years. We do not offer an alternative felt.
Why aren't the windows made of glass on your overlap range?
The polycarbonate glazing is easy to transport and install, making it perfect for outdoor buildings. Polycarbonate windows are very durable and will not discolour from UV exposure, making them a great choice for any outdoor building.
